Cycle around the largest lake in Brittany!
The Lac de Guerlédan covers 400 hectares and is 12 km long. It lies in the heart of the Quénécan forest massif between Mûr-de-Bretagne and the Abbaye de Bon Repos. A true ocean of fresh water, nestled in a steep valley that resembles a small mountain!
You can cycle around Lac de Guerlédan on the network of green paths, particularly Voie Verte 6, a former railway line, starting from the north. After reaching Mûr de Bretagne and its dam, you ride south through the Quénécan forest to return to the abbey of Bon-Repos.
