This magnificent hiking trail is one of the must-see spots in the Pays de Bitche. After following the Hasselfurth pond and then the Entenbaechel pond, a small winding path will lead you to Hochkopf, considered the highest point of Bitche (429 meters).
Discover the Hasselfurth pond. Located near Bitche, it is one of the most beautiful local bodies of water. Equipped for sports and outdoor leisure, it attracts many nature enthusiasts year-round who come to recharge. You will find a multi-recreation park and a holiday village on-site.
The route will lead you to the health trail, where you will take the cycling path from Bitche to Lemberg through the forest before reaching the Horn river.
Enjoy the informative panels about the local wildlife and flora, as well as the playground and picnic area by the Hasselfurth Pond, which enhance this route.
