Cycling loop B11: The Tour of the Vôge

Between plain and mountain, this route winds through Vôge, hilly and dotted with woods and fields. Starting from Xertigny heading towards Hadol, you warm up over about ten kilometers on a hilly road alternating between forests and meadows until Senade and quickly reach the Route des Forts via a winding road with a slightly ascending profile. This first part is quite gentle, allowing you to tackle the next section, which is very physically demanding, with a program of 10 kilometers of ascent, in successive stages. You can then recover on the long technical descent that will take you to Faymont. Enjoy the panorama over the wide valley of Combeauté. You will quickly regain Le Val d’Ajol and then switch to Plombières-les-Bains via a small winding pass sheltered by trees. From there, you ride westwards towards the "Ferme Aventure" along a rural, hilly, and often windy road. A slight detour via the famous Hardémont climb (with a 15% gradient), the last difficulty of the course, allows you to return, via Uzemain, to the starting point in Xertigny.
