Hiking - the beuille on the watershed line

Access: From Remiremont, take the road to Val-d'Ajol and after 2 km, turn left towards Girmont-Val-d'Ajol. Parking: Park along the D57, at the place called "La Barre de la Vigotte" (near the Les Tronches vacation center).

Distance: 9 km / Duration: 3 h / Elevation: 180 m / Marking: blue ring.

1) Start from the sign located at the edge of the D57, at the place called La Barre de la Vigotte. Descend towards the forest, along a fence, to the left of the road leading to the inn of Vigotte. Follow the edge for a moment before deviating sharply from it.
2) Turn your back to the edge and head into a dense fir forest.
3) At the Villerain pond (former property of the priory of Hérival, which included a now-disappeared sawmill), cross a large stony road, follow it for a short moment, and turn right towards a stream that can be crossed by walking or on a small wooden bridge. Meet another trail, follow it to the left towards the farms of Moulin Picard (Daffodils in spring).
4) Ascend the left road to its end near an old farm. Take the path that continues straight ahead, direction the pond of Mollière.
5) Descend the left path and cross a small stream. Follow a large forest road heading right towards the pond of Coke, then the ridge line and the forts road. Follow a new road directly opposite that descends to the Friends of Nature refuge chalet (viewpoint from the terrace over the Moselle valley).
6) Just above the chalet, a dirt path climbs the gently sloping hill. After an iron cross, follow the road to the right.
7) At this crossroads, the right path leads to the viewpoint of Beuille, count 30 min round trip. Opposite, the path leads back to Vigotte.
