Cycling loop GFV - Granfondo Vosges

The Granfondo Vosges, a new entrant in the Grand Trophy circuit, does not deviate from the rule and offers you a complete and demanding cycling course. Will you rise to this new challenge? Starting from the Bresse Hohneck station, you head to the col des Feignes for a warm-up around the Lispach Nordic area and its sumptuous lake. After a brief detour through La Bresse, you tackle several cols, short but intense, with some very steep percentages.

In order, the Croix des Moinats (891m), the cols des Hayes (875m) and de Morbieux (791m), and finally the Mont de Fourche (620m) via the hill road. Be careful not to misjudge your gear on this first third. After all these efforts, you reach Plombières-les-Bains. A more rolling section of 50 kilometers follows, with the col de la Demoiselle and the Pas de l’Âne as difficulties. The respite is short-lived and the finish promises to be "sturdy". You tackle the Haut du Tôt, nestled at 863m (with several sections over 10%). A quick descent follows to Rochesson and you’re already faced with the col de la Grosse Pierre (954m) looming ahead. Back in Bresse, you confront the last difficulty of the day: the 9 km of false flat climbing to the Bresse Hohneck station (898m).
