This hike will take you from the spa town of Salins-les-Bains, which is home to the Great Saltworks listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, to the summit of Mont Poupet (850 m) where you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the Jura landscape. Louis Pasteur conducted experiments there on "spontaneous generation."
