1.The Vineyard

Starting from Wasselonne, pass through the city center where you will discover the SQUARE TOWER, A ROUND TOWER, and SOME SECTIONS OF THE CITY WALLS. Take the bike path that will take you through the wine-growing landscape of the Vosges foothills. You will enter the fortified town of Wangen and its typically Alsatian streets. Take the D142 and cross the village of Westhoffen where you can admire ITS RAMPARTS and its GLORIETTE. You will then pass through Traenheim and take the D 225 to arrive in Balbronn, where you can discover the FORTIFIED CHURCH with its SUN DIAL and THE SILBERMANN ORGAN. Continue towards Bergbieten, a hamlet nestled in a valley and surrounded by vineyards to reach Dahlenheim, a municipality housing an admirable CHURCH located in the heart of the village. Before returning to your starting point, you will discover Marlenheim: "GATEWAY TO THE ALSACE WINE ROUTE."
