AzureDepartures and parking at the former hospice of little Saint Bernard. The path starts to the right of the building. When climbing, the path is not always clear and often very muddy and worn by water. The climb is quite steep. Descend from the lake along a wider (unpaved) road used by farmers to go to cows. The descent is much less steep. Just in front of the track, a path leads to the hospice. In good weather, beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and in the distance, including a view of the Matterhorn.
