Paris 4: stage from Laon to St. Jean aux Bois. This is a very beautiful section. First, we pass the large abbey of Prémontré. Be sure to cycle inside! Then up and over the ridge to Coucy le Chateau Auffrique, a lovely walled town that invites you to have a coffee. After that, a winding route to Pierrefonds with its fairytale castle, which you definitely must visit. Then continuing along a detached bike path through the woods. We will spend the night in the idyllic St Jean aux Bois, a tiny village in the middle of the large Forêt de Compiègne. Not to be forgotten quickly.
