Starting avenue des Becs in Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez. 100% road verified. The route has four enjoyable easy climbs 0.6km 5%, 0.4km 5%, 0.7km 4%, and 0.7km 5%. This is a nice scenic training route for road cyclists who want to cycle for 2,5-3,5 hours. The route crosses Lac du Jaunay and visits several picturesque villages. Be careful when riding on the D23 or D12 as these can be busy and cars are allowed to drive 90kph on some sections. In total 9.6km of the route is on the D23 or D12 (between kms 15.6-18.4, 22.8-25.9, and 31.1-34.8). This is compensated for by very nice and quiet roads.
