WWu Nuit Saint Georges - Beaune 62km

Cycling route from Nuit Saint Georges to Beaune and back. You cycle around Beaune, but can easily deviate from the route and drive into the city center. The route is suitable for racing bikes, city bikes, and (sporty) bikes. After passing Beaune, you will encounter some steep climbs. All roads are paved and thus suitable for racing bikes. You start from Nuits-Saint-George and cycle through the fields past Beaune along the east and south side. Up to this point, the route is relatively flat. After passing Beaune along the west side, it goes up with a significant climb. The last part of the climb is a short stretch on a paved road in poor condition. This is still doable on a racing bike. You descend to Savigny lès Beaune, where you cycle close to the château. In Rue du Jarron, you pass Parigot, specialized in crémant de Bourgogne (white, rosé, and red). After Savigny lès Beaune, you continue cycling through the vineyards of the Côte de Beaune and the Côte de Nuits to Chaux. Here, you will still encounter a serious climb from Pernand-Vergelesses. From Magny-lés-Villers, it continues gently sloping to Chaux, after which you descend to Nuits-Saint-Georges.
