From Les Chapieux: mountain hike to lac de Mya and back to Les Chapieux.
Good hiking boots and sticks are required. Set aside a whole day for this hike.
On the north slopes, there may be snow. Snow spikes, to bind around the hiking shoes, can be handy. When the snow melts, the ground can be muddy.
Not suitable for children.
During the hike, you will get numerous beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. There is a lot of variation. Quite a bit of climbing and descending. You cross beautiful little waterfalls. Still be careful. It can sometimes be dangerous. With some common sense and the necessary caution, it is safe to do.
