Fontenay-le-Comte is a western French city about 110 kilometers southeast of Nantes. The city is located in the Parc naturel régional du Marais Poitevin and is therefore a perfect base for exploring that region. Fontenay-le-Comte naturally also has a lot to offer and that will certainly become clear during the walk. Sights such as the Église Notre Dame, the Place Belliard, the Pont des Sardines, ... and a whole host of other gems will explain why that is exactly the case.
