The unexcavated portal tomb of Kilkeel is located in the northern part of Kilkeel, in the far south of County Down in Northern Ireland, not far from the court tomb of Dunnaman. Portal tombs are megalithic structures on the British Isles where two equally tall upright stones with a doorway stone in between form the front of a chamber that is covered with a largely massive capstone.
The megalithic structure from the Neolithic is situated along a gravel path in a field boundary. The approximately two-meter high and 2.5 m long portal tomb made of granite blocks is oriented to the south. The capstone is about 2.5 m wide and 0.6 m thick. It rests on two portal stones that are 1.3 m high and 0.8 m wide, and two tilted side stones that are about 1.5 m high and 1.2 m long; there is no end stone. The door stone is not original.
