Description by the author

Starting at the Long Barn bunkhouse near Llandysul the route heads up the Teifi Valley to Llanybydder, then deviates north to Talsarn in the Aeron valley. The route continues north-east up the Aeron Valley to meet Sarn Helen the Roman road. The route then follows the Sarn Helen south to cross the Teifi River at Llanfair Clydogau and continue up over the mountains above Ffarmers. From Ffarmers the route follows the Cothi valley to Brechfa and then crosses back over the Cambrian mountains to arrive at the final destination overlooking the Teifi valley.
