Description by the author

Hadrian's wall was the wall that formed the border of the Roman Empire in Britain. Nowadays there are only a few remnants of that imposing wall and its forts, which will all be visited during this motorcycle ride. The ride runs from the easternmost Arbeia in today's South Shields to the westernmost fortress Maia in today's Bowness-on-Solway and passes in between past eye-catchers such as Vindolanda, Vindobala, Birdoswald, ... and a whole host of other gems who will make this an unforgettable ride!
