Park at a large lay-by near the forest entrance by St Kevin’s Church in Laragh. There are several trail options but, for this loop, follow the blue arrows. It mainly meanders along a spruce forest which will look especially Christmassy if dusted with snow. Enjoy fine views across the Glenmacnass valley toward Scarr Mountain and pass the ruins of the old Brockagh village en route. glendalough.ie
