Bolzano includes Italy and Austria at the same time. It is also the place where the Dolomites route begins. It looks Mediterranean. South Tyrol's capital lies on the sunny side of the Alps, and you can feel it. When you return from southern Italy, the Austrian features stand out especially. It's not strange considering that South Tyrol belonged to Austria until 1919.
