The Klettersteig from the Drei Zinnen Hütte to Paternkofel is one of the easiest and most beautiful in the Dolomites. The perfect location for a first time. Once you are back down and look back at where you have been, you can hardly believe your eyes. But you probably couldn't believe them already along the way.
Tip: Mountain guide Luis Strobl (0039-3355394900, luis@bergfuehrertoblach.com, € 62,-) takes hikers up every Wednesday. A nice guy who radiates calm and confidence and speaks English in addition to German.
