The Passo d’Eira is a mountain pass at an altitude of 2210 m a.s.l. in the Italian province of Sondrio, which connects the Passo di Foscagno with Livigno. The area belongs to the Livigno-Alps mountain range and the Lombardy region.
The village of Trepalle, a district of Livigno accessible from the main town via this pass, claims to be the highest permanently inhabited place in Europe. However, this title is also claimed by the Swiss village of Juf.
