Owned by the Guarienti counts of Brenzone; here the extreme edge of Mount Baldo plunges into the lake and forms a peninsula that closes the Gulf of Garda to the northwest. It is the most protruding point in the water after the Sirmione peninsula. On the north side of the peninsula is the Bay of Sirens, a natural park with a swimming beach.
