The chapel is located in Raphaël square of Porta Sole, on the highest part of the city, in what remains of a religious complex, the convent and its church Saint-Sévère, of the monks of the Camaldolese Order.
The chapel houses a fresco created between 1500 and 1520 by the painters Raphael and Perugino.
