Reschen am See is a village in South Tyrol and one of the four fractions of the municipality of Graun in the Vinschgau. The place is located just over 1500 m above sea level in the Vinschgau or Vinschger Oberland, the highest section of the Adige Valley, near the Italian-Austrian state border. Immediately north of the village is the summit of the Reschen Pass, where the Adige, the second longest river in Italy, originates. Directly to the south lies the Reschensee, and to the southwest, the Rojental branches off.
