The Church of Sant'Antonio Abate is located in Piazza Sant'Antonio in Pisa.
It was founded in 1341 with the adjacent monastery, which was destroyed in World War II, and underwent some renovations in 1392 at the behest of Pietro Gambacorti.
It was rebuilt after the war in the form it had at the end of the 18th century. The lower facade, by Lupo and Giovanni di Gante and Simone di Matteo da Siena, is in two-tone marble bands (1399-1410). At the back of the courtyard is Keith Haring's huge mural Tuttomondo, the artist's last public work (1989) before his death in 1990 from AIDS.
