Description by the author

This is the climb from East to West of the Monte Zoncolan, starting at Sutrio. You reach a height of 1730m. The height difference is 1196m. The average slope is 8.9%. The steepest part is 22% just before the summit. Did you know that the climb tot Monte Zoncolan became part of the Giro in 2003. They called the climb the "Pink Dragon". A lot of cyclists were not happy with this monster. Mario Cipollini used a mountainbike to climb the mountain as sign of protest and maybe also a bit a s publicity.
