The itinerary has been divided into three parts referring to the northern, central, and southern areas of the region for practical reasons of managing data and information from such a long trail. The stretch of central Piedmont begins with stage 27, which leads from the Rivetti Refuge to the Cervo Valley. It then crosses the Biella Prealps, rich in cultural and faith testimonies, before entering the Province of Turin from the Dora Baltea in Canavese after a brief passage in the Aosta Valley. It then crosses the Chiusella Valley and arrives in the Soana Valley, traversing several stages through the Grand Paradiso territory. After leaving the Park, the Lanzo Valleys are crossed, arriving at Susa, where one can follow the main trail towards Salbertrand or head towards Meana di Susa. The variant rejoins at Usseaux in the Chisone Valley, from where the last part of the central sector begins with the crossing of the Germanasca Valley and finally the Pellice Valley, leading us to the foothills of the Monviso Massif.
