Departure from the parking lot Kuelscheier, Consdorf.
The entire route is perfectly signposted, just follow the photos: 'Müllerthaltrail 2' or the red M. Distances to the following villages are also regularly indicated.
Although this path officially has 18.6 km and 338 meters of elevation, we still arrived at 22 km and 600 m, it may have to do with extra meters to take nice photos or discover rock crevices, but a lot of extra time.
You land in a fairytale scene with powerful sleepy scenes, where you can use a little imagination to see a lion or a gnome... or recognize something else.
The waterfall is definitely worth it, but it is often very busy, as it is a real tourist area.
It is a tough path, but the reward is definitely worth it!
We stayed at the youth hostel in Echternach, which we can only recommend.
