Combination of WN 4 and Wëntger Gënzentour

We did this beautiful hike with many nice views on May 9, 2024

The WN4 loop has an approach path of almost 400 m. Therefore, we adjusted the route a bit. WN 4 is well marked in both directions. However, we make our way along the Huällegaass, a narrow road leading to the main road. After crossing the main road, we took the Wëntger Gënzentour, a bike path, into the Juddegaass (street). Follow this cobblestone street for a while until you encounter the WN4 sign. There you turn right into the field. Do not turn left, as you would return to Doennange. After a short stretch of open field, you enter the forest, where you descend along the Eeschbechtal into the Kireltal, a slightly wider stream. It continues for a while to return via paved roads through the fields to Deiffelt and back to the starting point.

The beautiful church of Doennange is definitely worth a visit.
