The Kibbelkoele is an artificial pond or lake near the Drenthe village of Kibbelveen and is hidden in the forests of Sleenerzand. The lake was created during the construction of the N381, the Friesland route. The sand that was needed for the route from Noord-Sleen to Emmen was taken from here.
