Engelenberg Foundation was the old city hospital of Kampen. It was built between 1911 and 1916 to a design by Willem Kromhout. It is the only remaining hospital designed by Kromhout. The hospital was named after Christiaan Engelenberg.
The symmetrically designed building features a prominently jutting central section, followed by a tall structure with the clock and two rectangular ventilation towers.
