The mill was built in 1864. In the thirties of the twentieth century, the mill was dismantled, leaving only the lower part of the hull. The Lattrop-Tilligte Mill Foundation bought the mill from the Brunninkhuis family in 1984 and had the mill repaired. Since then, the mill has been put into operation by volunteer millers.
