Ferry H.C. Kleemans

Description

On the banks of the Ganzendiep lies the cycling ferry H. C. Kleemans, named after Mr. Kleemans, the mayor of Kampen from 1978 to 1999. This manually operated bike and foot ferry has been in use since July 2004. Historically, there have been ferries over the Ganzendiep, such as the ferry to Seveningen and the ferry between Grafhorst and Kampereiland.

If the ferry is still on the other side, you can pull it towards you by the cable. By turning the wheel, you steer the ferry to the other side.
