In the village stands a church built on an elevation from the 14th century (tower) and 15th century (nave and choir). To the east of the church lies the highest flee hill in Zeeland, which has a height of twelve meters; a flee hill located on the other side of the church, with a height of fourteen meters, has completely disappeared.
