The English Work is a park that was established around 1830 in the city of Zwolle. Built on former fortifications, it was designed by Hendrik van Lunteren in a romantic English landscape style. It is located southwest of the city, directly along the dike of the river IJssel. Besides the IJssel dike, it is bordered by the Spoolderbos, which was created around 1980, and the railway yard.
