The Steam Pumping Station Mastenbroek is located on the Kamperzeedijk, between Kampen and Genemuiden, by the drainage canal Veneriete. The pumping station was built in 1855 to drain the Mastenbroekerpolder. It operated until 1961, when an electric pumping station took over its function. The pumping station is listed in the 'Top 100 of the National Heritage Agency' from 1990.
