The old steam pumping station Mastenbroek is a protected industrial monument from 1856. It still has an original steam installation of Dutch manufacture, which is fully operational. Next to the pumping station is the visitor center with permanent and rotating exhibitions about the hydraulic history of the area, including video and slide presentations.
