Herbertusbossen is the name of an old forest with tall broadleaf and coniferous trees near the castle of Heeze, east of the village. It connects to the Strabrechtse Heide and estate de Lange Bleek near Sterksel. The estate used to belong to Heeze Castle and has been owned by the Brabants Landschap since 1973. It is named after one of the earliest known lords of the lordship of Heeze, Leende, and Zesgehuchten. The area covers approximately 350 ha.
