Nunspeet is a municipality in the Veluwe region of the Dutch province of Gelderland. On January 1, 1812, Nunspeet was separated from Ermelo as an independent municipality, but this ended again on January 1, 1818. The current municipality of Nunspeet was established on January 1, 1972, after the separation from the municipality of Ermelo. The municipality has 26,737 inhabitants (March 31, 2015, source: CBS) and has an area of 129.49 km² (of which 0.76 km² is water).
