Oirschot ; Orskot in the local dialect) is a municipality and a town in the southern Netherlands. It is situated 12 kilometres from the city of Eindhoven and 20 kilometres from the city of Tilburg in the province North Brabant . The municipality had a population of 18,623 in 2019.The old 2014 coalition that was governing Oirschot was formed out of 4 parties: CDA, Socialist Party, Dorpsvisie and PvdA.
