In November 2013, Zundert launched an extra new Trappist beer, called "Zundert". A Trappist beer has already been brewed in the Trappist abbey at Maria Toevlucht in Zundert: La Trappe. Since 2013 there are (only) 9 Trappist beers: 6 in Belgium, 2 in the Netherlands (Zundert) and 1 in Engelszell in Austria.
