Milsbeek (Limburgish: De Milsbèk) is a village in the far north of Limburg in the Netherlands. It is part of the municipality of Gennep and has about 2600 inhabitants. It has its own football club, brass band, drama club, a korfball club, various carnival associations and also a primary school. At Milsbeek, the river Niers flows into the Meuse.The village of Milsbeek owes its name to a stream with rusty brown water, which comes from a swampy peat. Mil means rust-colored water. Nowadays the stream is called the Kroonbeek.
