The historic town of Heenvliet is best known for its annual horse market on the 2nd day of Pentecost. Heenvliet is also home to the historic ruins of Ravesteyn Castle. This ruin is open for visitors on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month in the months of June, July and August.
