The Victorieplein was one of the large traffic squares of the Plan Zuid. If you take a moment back to the 1920s, you might feel the new, modern life around you, with the first cars, omnibuses, bicycles and motorcycles all constantly asking for priority. It may have been exciting then, but perhaps especially stressful now.
On the right you see the Skyscraper, something hip at the time, with beautiful apartments of 125 m2, with handy gadgets such as an elevator, a built-in refrigerator and a garbage chute.
