The Morspoort is the western city gate of Leiden, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands, located on the Morssingel. The stone gate was built in 1669 in Mannerist style according to a design by the Leiden master builder Willem van der Helm.
The gate with an octagonal dome served for a long time as a prison. The name is derived from De Morsch, the marshy pasture area outside Leiden. The neighborhood D'Oude Morsch in which the gate stands, Morsstraat, Morssingel, and the Mors district on the other side of the singel refer to this.
