The Lichtenberg Castle Ruins are the ruins of a castle located on the Sint-Pietersberg south of the village of Sint Pieter in the Dutch municipality of Maastricht. The structure is situated on the eastern edge of the mountain, with the Slavante Forest to the north of it. The ruin is a remnant of one of the rare hilltop castles in the Northern Netherlands. Only a dilapidated keep and part of the north wing have been preserved of the castle. From the elevated keep, there is a wide view over the Meuse valley. From 1991 to 2018, part of the castle farm housed the Sint Pieters Museum. Beneath the castle ruins, there is a limestone wall classified as a Geological monument Typelocatie Maastrichtien. In the limestone beneath the castle ruins, the remaining parts of the extensive Slavante underground tunnel system can still be found. Through a shaft, the farm had access to this tunnel system.
