The café and the hall of Overgoor at the roundabout Beekseweg-Doetinchemseweg have been demolished. You could go there day and night according to an advertisement from the time when Nederveen was mayor of Bergh. This was because the post office - with phone - was also located there.
Around 1900, it was built by J. Reuling as a beer house and bakery (see left). Johannes Hendrikus Overgoor, born on May 31, 1893, in the municipality of Gendringen, writes on July 28, 1918, from Megchelen a letter to the mayor of Bergh, informing him that the property in Kilder, formerly owned and inhabited by J. Reuling, has been transferred to him by sale. He intends to 'continue the business in the same manner'. He requests permission for the café and asks to be granted 'to allow dance music in the barn during the Kermis in Kilder'.
