In the Millennium Book Azewijn (2000), the Alofs family is pictured at Leppestraat 2 under the sign 'Full License'. The name of the café is De Vergulde Kip. After the liberation in 1945, Zaal Alofs was converted into an emergency church because the church had completely burned down. In 2006, the Wissink family moved into the building, and all of Azewijn and the surrounding areas hope that the building will continue to have a hospitality function. Following the departure of the Alofs family, the photo and film group of the Historical Society recorded an interview on video. Once the film room in the Heemkundehuus is ready, this film can be viewed.
