Grand Café De Snor - commonly referred to simply as De Snor - is a café with a large terrace located at Molenstraat 2 in 's-Heerenberg.
De Snor is a sponsor of the Heemkundekring Bergh.
During Open Monument Day in 2007, the hospitality industry was in the spotlight. The following text was included with the bike route: "This building was constructed around the turn of the last century in Jugendstil and leased by Frans Bernards and Hanne Derksen. After Frans's death, Hanne remarried Gerrit Schuurman, a man with a very ornate mustache. The café is named after him. Hanne and Gerrit then purchased the building from the Sint Antonius guild. At that time, a café was located in the front part with a bazaar on the right side; the rear section was a concert/dance hall where all sorts of things were sold. During the Saint Nicholas season, many toys were sold. From 1913, a cinema was also added to the back hall. However, during Lent and Advent, the priest of 's-Heerenberg prohibited the showing of films. The Schuurman family adhered to this for a long time. In 1986, the cinema was removed, and a new hall was built. The current operator is a grandson of Gerrit Schuurman, Marcel Schuurman!!
