The Joannus mill is a ground-sailor grain mill located on Vosseneindseweg in Heumen. This round stone mill was built in 1894. It is equipped with self-regulating on the inner rod. The Joannus is set up for grinding grain for human consumption and has two pairs of millstones and an electrically powered milling chair. The mill has given its name to a company that produces organic products. Due to the growth of the company and the deteriorating mill ecosystem, these products are barely still milled with the Joannus.
