The Boetselaersborg is a small castle in 's-Heerenberg in the eastern part of the province of Gelderland. The castle is also known as Drost Daemhuis. The castle, located on Kattenburg, was built in 1550 by the brothers Daem and Hector van den Bergh. These brothers were illegitimate sons of Count Willem III van den Bergh and the innkeeper Lyse Poer of a 's-Heerenberg inn. In the year 1942, a stone grave cross of Heilken Poer, who died on March 22, 1531, was retrieved from the moat of Huis Bergh. She was a relatively wealthy aunt of the two brothers, in whose inheritance she participated. In 1620, the house passed to Willem Jacob van Boetselaer, who gave his name to the house. There used to be a moat around the castle. It belongs to the possessions of Huis Bergh and is not open to the public.
